  • Client: Union Square Main Streets, 2009

    Designer: Costume Works Inc.

The shop is on the outskirts of bustling Union Square in Somerville, and we were honored when Union Square Main Streets asked us to create a costume to help promote the Saturday Farmer's Market.
  • Client: Benson's Ice Cream, 2010

    Designer: Gail Astrid Buckley

Benson's paid us in ice cream. If you're in Boxford, MA in the summer, go there. Every flavor is delicious. (Especially the coffee brownie chunk.)
  • Client: VDA Productions, 2008

    Designer: Robert Russo/VDA

A Halloween costume for a client's client, complete with stencilled grill marks.

Yes, that bumpy outer coating really is JELLY BEANS. We provided the base clothing pieces and then painted them with a coating that hardened the fabric. (The talented folks at VDA glued down the candy.)

This costume was worn at a trade show promoting computer clustering, thus the grape idea. It was our very first food costume; each grape is an individually-dyed foam rubber ball.

Another in a series of entertaining costume prizes we have made to be awarded at the now-annual Fluff Festival in Somerville's Union Square, these chef's hats feature the Fluff logo, but with a silly 70s twist. Astronaut Rick Linnehan, shown here, carried Fluff on the space shuttle!
